*Residents turn classrooms into toilet in Ejisu Juaben district*
The Headmaster of Tikrom M/A JHS in the Ejisu Juaben municipal in the Ashant Region has threatened to close down their school because residents in the area defecate in the classrooms.
Because the area does not have enough public toilet, the residents have thus resorted to using uncompleted school blocks used by the students of the Tikrom M/A JHS as toilet.
Mr Agyeman Yeboah the headmaster of the school in an interview with Silver Fm's Akwadaa Nyame said some of their teachers have refused to teach because of the stench.
“Our classrooms are uncompleted, have no window's and doors so open defecation is going on nicely here on regular basis, anytime we come in the morning we will find human excreta dotted in the classrooms and our black boards it is an eye sore and disheartening to see students in their uniforms trying to clean and scrub the classrooms before they begin Classes.”
He added that, “the teachers who is fed up over the issue has refused to use the classroom and now teaches the children under the tree on the compound because of the stench emanating from the Classroom.”
Hon Stella Oduro Boateng, Assembly member of the area, said she will report the issue to the assembly for final solutions and appeal to the government and individuals to come to their aid by providing them with new school block to replace the old one which has become a death trap and can collapsed anytime.
She said “any time teachers come to school they are greeted with toilet. How on earth can these innocent children be cleaning waste done by others?”
“This is really affecting teaching and learning activities, we are going to have a meeting with the community members on this issue and if it continues after the meeting then we do not have any option than to close down the school and take the teachers away because this thing has been going on for more than a year now so If we close down the school for a week the community will sit up.”
Meanwhile the students have presented a petition to the assembly member in the area but when they went to their Chief palace to present their petition, they were sacked by the Krontihene of the town threatened to have them arrested if they did leave his palace. The Krontihene of Tikrom who believes is a wrong form of protest said the assembly is responsible to provide the residents with public toilets and school building.
“We are aware the classrooms are not the best but it is not prerogative of the Tikrom Traditional council to provide them with security or new school block but rather the district assembly so if they are protesting against them then this is a wrong protest,” he added.

☑.. *Dog dies of a broken heart after being abandoned by owner*
_A poor dog has reportedly “died of a broken heart” after being abandoned by her owner at an airport in Colombia. She spent the last month of her life wandering around the airport in search of her master and eventually stopped eating as a result of severe depression._
_The distressed dog, named Nube Viajera (Traveling Cloud) by the veterinarians who rescued her from Palonegro airport, near Bucaramanga, and looked after her until the very end, was only about two years old, but after a month of wandering around sniffing passengers and refusing to accept food and water, she had become so weak that she was barely able to stand._
_Witnesses said that in the last days of her life, the animal gave up her daily search and crawled into an isolated corner, refusing to accept any food that passengers and airport staff offered her._
_She was finally taken to a veterinarian clinic after someone alerted the Friends of Animals and Nature Foundation of Bucaramanga, but despite their best efforts, she died within 48 hours of being rescued._
_Dr Alejandro Sotomonte, who tried to nurse Nube Viajera back to health, told Noticias RCN that he was convinced the animal died from a broken heart after being abandoned. She was young and showed no signs of serious illness, except for the severe depression. Although she did not have a collar, the spotted dog did not have the behavior of a stray, either._
_“Stray dogs have a strong survival instinct and can easily move around from one place to another without falling into depression,” Sotomonte said. “The stray has no master, but at the same time everyone can be its owner. We presume that Nube Viajera had a master and a home, because she never left the airport, and kept sniffing people as if she was searching for someone.”_
_Despite being administered food and medicine intravenously by veterinarians, Nube Viajera’s health deteriorated rapidly in the last 48 hours of her life, as her sadness and depression intensified._
_Dr. Sotomonte told local reporters that studies have shown that dogs can choose to die when going through severe depression, and that he believes that was the case with this abandoned dog.

CHRISTIAN KWAKU OFORI KUMAH (KOOFORI BOSSU DENKYE) KOO NIE WRITES_*
*THE UNTOLD STORY IN THE MEDIA FRATERNITY*
I will celebrate my brother KABA than sharing crocodile tears, I am proud of him and proud of myself. Yes, I have been in the media as a broadcaster journalist for several years now and I listened to various comments from both junior and senior colleagues as to what, when, where, why and how everyone wants to be in this noble profession.
I have worked with top broadcasters in the country and I have learned a lot from them.
But in the industry, I realised that there are a lot of backbiting, confusion, pull him down, selfishness and sometimes kills one talent yet there is nothing like helping hand. When they see you are talented nobody will give you the opportunity for exhibition, still they pretend to love you when the public begins to talk good things about you.
Well, it will begin to interest you that some of these seniors are not even on talking terms with their own junior colleagues whom they are sharing same office with because of competition; interesting! These senior broadcasters can go to the extent that they don't even want their junior colleagues who sit-in for them on radio to play their identification jingle but rather playing the I.D of him who is absent. Interesting!
Sometimes on the working field it's so funny how the seniors treats the juniors on little solidarity the should be shared among individual media houses that attended the assignment, sometimes the seniors takes all leaving the juniors stranded at the scene what a pity.
I have personally fought with some of these seniors before on the occasion where they wanted to cheat on the juniors on this same small money that supposed to be shared with the pressmen but they wanted to take it all.
I have soo many stories to tell but is just a matter of time, my brothers and sisters of the media let's treat everyone like how we treat our new girlfriends who knows tomorrow.
"Treat every part of your towel well, the place you used to robbed your anus today might be used on your face tomorrow".
I am proud to be a journalist who never treat a Colleague brother bad, I am glad I didn't turned my back on people when they needed assistance, I am proud I shared with them my little, I am proud I am not money conscious.
God bless Ghana π¬π Journalists.

ASSIN NORTH FORESTRY COMMISSIONER HAS REVEALED THE MYSTERY OF THE COMMISSION.
21/11/17
Assin north forestry commission led by Mr. Samuel Kyei has disclosed the problems the commission is facing when he was interviewed by the press man Emmanuel Kwaku Ahiaku.
He started by explaining the sundry functions of the forestry commission/ department.
According to Him, they do manage the forest, this is where they order the timber operators to enter the forest cut a certain trees in the forest. Every trees has a limitation so they do check when the tree is well grown then they allow the operators to cut them off.
Secondly, they also do protect the forest by giving boundaries around the forest so that No one enters the forest without been authorized by the commission.
Moreover, He said, they also do develop the forest, this is where they plant trees where necessary to do so.
He said, most farmers and landlords clear forest site for their farming activities but that shouldn't be the rightful way to do it, the best way is to come to come and inform the commission for them to come to the site and check neither there are economic trees at the site.
He then debunked the allegation that, some forest Guides collaborate with some chainsaw operators in Assin north and its environs to cut off trees in the surrounded forest.
Nevertheless, he said, in some forest site, they are to have not less than 10 forest Guides, but if you go there, you will see only two guides, even some places they don't have any guide at all. According to him, ever since he came to Assin, about 20 forest Guides, some are dead, others are on retirement but there haven't been any replacement. So in the first place, they are shot of men, (forest guides). They don't have enough guides to help them protect the forest. So the few that they have, have been loaded with so many duties. One guide taking care of four (4) district which is very bad.
He said, and I quote ''we are supposed to have 40 forest Guides but currently we have only 25, so are in need of 15 more guides, and apart from that, we do a lot of plantation, so for plantation side too we need not less than 10 officers" According to Mr Kyei, the forestry commission is facing a lot of challenges, Assin north to be precise.
When we are able to catch illegal operators, and handed them over to the police for feather investigation and production, it takes so much period before we get feedback, said Mr. Samuel Kyei. And when the police manage to process the person to court, the funds that the judges gives them are not detainment enough. Some judges even fund chainsaw operators as low as 200gh. Which is not enough, Mr. Kyei said.
Another challenge is that, some forest guides are not committed some are also aging guides, they are too old to do the work.
He added that, they do a lot of plantation, but they have only one old car, meanwhile, they supposed to have about 5 cars.
In His conclusion, He appealed to the government to come to their aid immediately to provide them with forest guides and cars, He again calls upon the judges and the police to go according to rules of the forestry commission he finally call upon the Chiefs in the various communities to assist them by reporting the illegal operators to them.
He finally gave a strong warning to the forest guides who have become intermediate between the commission and the illegal operators by feeding them with information when the commission is planning to embark on operation.

_Actress Nikki Samonas has asked men who have intentions of approaching her in the future to evaluate themselves in order to see if she will consider for a relationship._
_According to her, before she gives in to a man, she looks into the person’s future in order to evaluate if the person has a bright future._
_She indicated that if she sees the future to be bleak, she rejects the man because the relationship won’t be of any use to her._
_She said “I look at your future and ask if we can have a better life together. Monkeys play by sizes so the guy has to evaluate himself and think whether he deserves me or not before approaching”._
