*THE UNTOLD STORY IN THE MEDIA FRATERNITY*

I will celebrate my brother KABA than sharing crocodile tears, I am proud of him and proud of myself. Yes, I have been in the media as a broadcaster journalist for several years now and I listened to various comments from both junior and senior colleagues as to what, when, where, why and how everyone wants to be in this noble profession.

I have worked with top broadcasters in the country and I have learned a lot from them.

But in the industry, I realised that there are a lot of backbiting, confusion, pull him down, selfishness and sometimes kills one talent yet there is nothing like helping hand. When they see you are talented nobody will give you the opportunity for exhibition, still they pretend to love you when the public begins to talk good things about you.

Well, it will begin to interest you that some of these seniors are not even on talking terms with their own junior colleagues whom they are sharing same office with because of competition; interesting! These senior broadcasters can go to the extent that they don't even want their junior colleagues who sit-in for them on radio to play their identification jingle but rather playing the I.D of him who is absent.  Interesting!

Sometimes on the working field it's so funny how the seniors treats the juniors on little solidarity the should be shared among individual media houses that attended the assignment, sometimes the seniors takes all leaving the juniors stranded at the scene what a pity.

I have personally fought with some of these seniors before on the occasion where they wanted to cheat on the juniors on this same small money that supposed to be shared with the pressmen but they wanted to take it all.

I have soo many stories to tell but is just a matter of time, my brothers and sisters of the media let's treat everyone like how we treat our new girlfriends who knows tomorrow.

"Treat every part of your towel well, the place you used to robbed your anus today might be used on your face tomorrow".

I am proud to be a journalist who never treat a Colleague brother bad, I am glad I didn't turned my back on people when they needed assistance, I am proud I shared with them my little, I am proud I am not money conscious.

God bless Ghana 🇬🇭 Journalists.
