 Minority Parties Nominates Kofi Akpaloo To Represent ROPAA Consultative Committee

The Founder and Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana, Kofi Akpaloo has been appointed by the minority parties to represent them on the Representation of the People’s Amendment Act (ROPAA) Consultative and Implementation Committee.

The minority parties made the decision today after a brief meeting with leadership of each political party.

Mrs Jean Mensa, Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) last week inaugurated the Representation of the People’s Amendment Act (ROPAA) Consultative and Implementation Committee.

The nine-member Committee is made up of three representatives from the EC, the Peace Council, Civil Society Organisation, the Academia, one each from the ruling party and the main opposition party, while the minority parties were to nominate one representative.

The Committee is chaired by Dr Eric Bossman Asare, Deputy Chairman, EC, in-charge of Corporate Services with Mr Christian Owusu-Parry, EC Director of Administration as the Secretary.

Other Members of the Committee include Mrs Adwoa Abrefa Asuaman, EC Member; Mr John Boadu, General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP); and Dr Benjamin Kumbuor, a leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The rest are Reverend Dr Ernest Adu Gyamfi of the National Peace Council; Professor Ransford Gyampo of the University of Ghana, Dr Kojo Asante of the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD) Ghana and Kofi Akpaloo who represents the minority political parties.

The Committee shall commence sitting in January 2019 and shall present its final report to the Commission by May 31, 2019.

The abandoned and deteriorated Head Office of the Association of Lotto Marketing Companies has been renovated and fully furnished by Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, Director-General  of the Authority.

The Association of Lotto Marketing Companies is one of the backbone of the National Lottery Authority. The Lotto Marketing Companies are the mainstream customers of NLA, helping the Authority to sell to generate revenue for Government to undertake developmental projects.

However, the National Head Office of the Association of Lotto Marketing Companies was in a very bad state, which was unbefitting considering their level of contribution to Government as far as revenue mobilization and jobs creation are concerned.

Kofi Osei-Ameyaw upon assumption of Office as the Director-General of NLA initiated pragmatic steps to help the renovation and furnishing of the Head Office of the Association of Lotto Marketing Companies.

The leadership of the Association led by Mr. Daniel Mensah, Chairman  and Mr. Kofi Frimpong, General Secretary for the Association of Lotto Marketing Companies have been collaborating effectively and efficiently with Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, Director-General of the Authority.

According to sources at  NLA, Kofi-osei-ameyaw  and the Board from 2019 would implement several projects and programs towards the total transformation of Lottery business in Ghana.

So far so good, Kofi Osei-Ameyaw is doing very well at the NLA.

The Vice President of Jayee University College, Mr Stephen Nibebale Bemile, has emphatically stated that the private universities in Ghana, especially Jayee University College which recorded an overall enrollment for the two faculties from 514 students 2017 -to- 312 in 2018 - indicating a sharp decline,  are hoping to take advantage of all  opportunities to beef up their numbers, not excluding taking advantage of the Government's policy of the Free SHS and the double track system

Delivering his speech at the 9th Congregation and 11th Matriculation ceremonies for the  2017/2018 academic year at the forecourt of the Jayee University College (Accra), Mr Bemile said Jayee University College runs two-year diploma and four-year degree programmes in Human Resource Management; Secretaryship and Management; Accounting as well as  Marketing in the Business Administration Faculty. Programmes within the Faculty of Communication Science are Journalism (with potions in Business and Financial Reporting; Sports Reporting; and Political Reporting) and Public Relations.

Nevertheless, financial and enrollment challenges continue to be a daunting task for the university. He, however, added that they had recognised the immense potentials the Government's *Free SHS* concept holds for private tertiary institutions and the latter would position themselves to absorb the large number of students who may not make it to the public universities or who are willing to pay for programmes and courses of their choice.

According to him, Jayee University continues to pride itself as one of the leading private university colleges that provide the required quality human resource for national growth and development.

He said some of their graduates were found across the length and breadth of Ghana as well as in some international settings playing key roles in the development of society.

In conclusion, he stressed that they were aware of the global migration to digital broadcasting which would result in a greater demand for skilled personnel to man the FM radio, television, and other multimedia communication channels that would emerge.

ASSIN SOUTH DISTRICT HAS RAISED 40,000 OIL PALM SEEDLINGS TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO INTERESTED FARMERS 

   The Assin South District Chief Executive(DCE), Hon. Derrick Owusu Ambrose has emphatically stated that, under the planting for Food and jobs programme introduced by the current Government, The Assin South District has therefore selected oil palm production apart from cocoa as having the upper hand. To this end, the Department of Agriculture in the Assin South has raised 40,000 oil palm seedlings to be distributed to interested farmers at gratis in the next farming season.

 He said, The Planting for Food and Jobs programme which was introduced by the government has indeed relieved farmers of the initial cost of obtaining improved seeds and fertilizer at a higher cost. Other flagship program would soon hit the ground to help improve agriculture production. Mention can be made of; Planting for Export and Rural Development (PERD) which demands every MMDAs to identify tree crops which have comparative advantage. The government would support farmers with improved seed and linkages to processing factories and for export.

Additionally, Hon Owusu Ambrose emphasized that, over 240 pruners and 278 pollinators have been trained to assist cocoa farmers improve the yield of cocoa production.
More so, warehouses would be constructed in all the ten regions to preserve food from spoilage.

Delivering his speech on the farmers day celebration ground durbar at Assin Gyinawobodie in the Assin South District of the central region, Hon. Ambrose quotes that “if you eat today, thank a farmer”. So there is no doubt that, we have to thank farmers everyday for their enormous contribution to the nation’s development and that is why 7th December is put aside to celebrate our farmers and say a special thank you for feeding us everyday.

   Moreover, He stressed that, it is worth sharing that ever since the carving of the Assin South from the Mother District, the District has continually rewarded her gallant farmers and fisher folks. This is in appreciation of the farmers and fishers contribution in feeding the district and the nation as a whole and cultivating cash crops such as cocoa, oil palm and citrus to earn foreign exchange for the nation and increase earnings of the local economy and creating employment for more than 70% of the work force.
The Assembly in recognition of the hard work of our farmers, has rewarded exceptional farmers and agribusiness entrepreneurs who adapt to improved technologies delivered by our hardworking extension workers.

the theme for this year’s celebration: *AGRICULTURE, MOVING GHANA BEYOND AID* which the government under the leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo’s vision of relieving the country from permanent dependence on foreign support but rather depends on our collective efforts to take agriculture as a business. This domain had been in the mind of Ghanaians for so long.

Nevertheless, Hon. Ambrose made it clear that,  the government under the able leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo would introduce another initiative meant for Rearing for Food and Jobs to support the livestock industry.
As Rome was not built in a day, let us wait patiently and strive to implement all these lofty ideas.

   The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IKHMAN CONSULT who double as a Snr. consultant Mr. Issac Manu, has stated it emphatically that the government and the farmers in Ghana are part of diseases we are experiencing in the country for the use of chemical fertilizer on crops.

   He stressed that, for a country to have a stable and a healthy economy, the government have to promote and encourage the use of locally made goods, the government spends a lot of money on the importation of chemical fertilizer which end ups of creating most of diseases we are experiencing.

    According to him, almost every year, the government import chemical fertilizer from the foreign countries whereby the government would have to covert the Gh cedis into Dollars, meanwhile the government can purchase the organic fertilizer from the local producers to the farmers because its healthful and has no side effect after it's applications on crops.

During an exclusive interview with the media, Mr Manu, called on the government and the farmers in Ghana to encourage and develop the usage of organic fertilizer such as Asaase Nufusuo organic fertilizer and other organic fertilizer on their crops, he said, the organic fertilizer can be applied on crops anytime unlike chemical fertilizer which is only applicable in rainy season.

He said, and I quote  "All our soil have been destroyed with the use of chemical fertilizers, the microorganisms especially, the earthworm who have been described as soil engineers do not feed on chemical fertilizer rather the organic. Therefore, using organic fertilizers will help increase their population in the soil to enhance good soil condition"
Moreover, Mr Manu added that, subsidy programme because gives the farmers the best result beyond even the use of chemical fertilizer.
This he said at the inauguration ceremony of an Organic Center at Atieku for Central and Western Region by Ikhman Consult


He finally said, Its even a wish that Asaase Nufusuo fertilizer will be captured under the national fertilizer subsidy programme.

Kwaku Duah-Tawiah and CLAAG operations are largely financed by Alhpa Lotto and other unlicensed Lotto Agents.

 The main agenda of CLAAG and Kwaku Duah-Tawiah is to solicit for the data of lotto writers for onward submission to Alpha Lotto and his paymasters as well as organized unproductive press conferences/releases to attack the National Lottery Authority. According to our investigation, the Concerned Lotto Agents Association of Ghana (CLAAG) was registered at the Registrar-General Department on 26th January 2016 with Kwaku Duah-Tawiah and Solomon Aboagye as the signatories. Solomon Aboagye doubled as the Secretary to the registration of the Association. However, none of these two gentlemen are functional Lotto Agents.

National Service Personnel Association - Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly ( NASPA - TNMA ) has elected new executives to steer and manage the affairs of the association for 2018/2019 service year.  

The constitution of Naspa stipulates that the association shall hold district elections to elect new officers to manage its affairs.
In line with this mandate , the association held its elections on Wednesday 21st Sept., 2018 at the forecourt of the NSS office Tarkwa Nsuaem.
The outcome of the election saw the underlisted as the newly elected executives for the next one year :

Congregation of Resurrection power and Living Bread Ministries International boycott church joint service to show disapproval to the Arch Bishop Akwesi Asare Bediako's Decision to withdraw the Regional Overseer from Western Region with immediate effect.

According to them, the general overseer of the church (Resurrection power and Living Bread Ministries International), Arch Bishop Akwesi Asare Bediako in collaboration with some of the leaders in the church are misusing a property which belongs to the church. Its a warehouse located in Takoradi Harbour, which the church use for hiring, but the Arch Bishop has formed a committee (board) to monitor the income of the said project which "He" the Arch Bishop is the same person who appointed the members on the board.

But According to the church members in the western Region Including the western regional Overseer Apostle Paul Anane,  they were not in support with what the general overseer was doing with the income the church generated from the warehouse, so he decided to dissolve the previous board so that the money they will get from the hiring of the warehouse can be used to developed the church.

  But in the cause of dissolving the previous board, the general overseer Arch Bishop Akwesi Asare Bediako became annoyed and disagreed to the Apostle's decision of dissolving the previous board and to appoint new members, because of selfish interest.

So he Arch Bishop, used every means to withdraw the regional overseer from his post so that he can get access to the money they get from the hiring of the warehouse.

    According to a reliable source, the Apostle was attempted several times to be arrested by the Trustees and knowing they cannot arrest him, they took him to court and now have been withdrawn from the Region. Currently, Apostle Paul have been ordered to withdraw with an immediate effect.

CVM Commends Prez Akufo-Addo For Success In Paperless Ports System

President Akufo-Addo gets Thumbs Up For success in Paperless Ports System

The leadership of CVM would like to commend President Akufo-Addo for the great success chalked in the paperless port goods clearing systems under his  leadership.

CVM is happy that the verifiable data and statistics from the Ghana Revenue Authority, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade and Customs Excise and Preventive Service shows that the introduction of the paperless clearing system  has upped revenue by almost GH¢2billion within the fiscal year and likely to reach GH¢13 billion by end of year, a great improvement on the GH¢11.43 billion of revenue collected in 2017.

We the members of CVM are  happy that the near GH¢ 2billion did not end up in the pockets of individuals.

The decision of Nana Akufo-Addo led  government to commence a paperless clearing system at Ghana’s ports has proved to be a key factor in fighting corruption at the country’s revenue collection points, a major anti-corruption success story.

The paperless  Ports system has  significantly  removed the canker of human interference  and  artificial  bottlenecks  created to cause  avoidable  delays, which hitherto were the hallmark of clearing goods from Ghana’s ports.

It said the the bottlenecks compelled importers to part with various amounts of money to individual persons so   they ‘facilitate’ and  ‘speed’  the  clearing of  goods  which sometimes lasted for two weeks.

There was also the challenge of goods being inspected by separate agencies and officials individually and in many cases there were human manipulation to aid under invoicing, under declaring of goods and revenue which should have gone to government ended up in private pockets.

The Paperless clearing system  has led  to an integration and automation  of the various strategic agencies and there  is  now  a joint inspection.

The inspection agencies have also been reduced from 16 to just 3 so as to reduce clearing time, the dreaded “Long Room” has also been eliminated.

However we are not surprised that, there are people working against this anti-corruption tool called paperless ports clearing system.

The unnecessary  attempt by some people to  frustrate the status  quo  shall however  be opposed and their covet agenda exposed.

On the  global  front,  the achievement  being  made  at the  ports  has seen  Ghana ranked 156 in the trading across borders scoring 54.84 up from 52.32 in 2018 in the latest World Bank Ease of Doing Business Report.

According to the report, Ghana made importing easier by implementing a paperless customs clearance processing system. CVM would like to commend the government of Ghana; particularly the Economic Management Team, Ministry of Finance,   Ministry  of Trade,  GRA-Customs Division, West Blue Consulting, GCNET and all relevant stakeholders for their various roles played in increasing government’s revenue at the port and blocking revenue leakages through the paperless clearing system.

This is a fight against corruption and that should be supported and applauded by all well meaning persons.

The Ghana First Patriotic Frontiers (GFPF) has observed with keen interest and dissatisfaction, the inconsistent and contradictory figures being churned out as evidence of supposed successes of the Single Window and Paperless Ports systems at Ghana’s ports.

This is more worrying, especially when the ordinary Ghanaian importer and exporter is still faced with very major challenges at our ports and clearing time has relapsed into what it used to be.
The private operators of the system have also not been able to quantify the exact revenue gained by the country since the introduction of the two systems.

What we have had is a consistent churning out of inconsistent figures from different stakeholders all claiming to be either the amount of money saved for the country or the figure of percentage in the reduction of demurrage payment.
 GFPF is unhappy at the attempt to rely on public relations gimmicks to make the paperless ports system sound successful at all cost when indeed, no verifiable facts and figures has been made available to back the claims.
It therefore came as a great welcoming news when the media reported that the Ministry of Trade and Industry has awarded a 10-year contract to a Ghanaian company and its oversees partners, CUPIA Korea Customs Service to provide a professional Single Window trade facilitation and customs management system (UNIPASS) at the ports.
It is believed this new operators would bring in systems to reduce the inspection agencies and further reduce clearing time at the ports.
The ports at crucial revenue generation points for the country and in this era where government needs additional funding to fund the Free Senior High School policy, all hands must be on deck to block all leakages in revenue generation.

It is for this reason that the single window and paperless ports operations ought to be handled with maximum professionalism and one that would make Ghana’s ports become the envy of the world.

This is in line with a road safety campaign aimed at ensuring that all persons who want to sit behind the wheel must ensure they have learned to drive from an accredited driving school and are in possession of a driver’s license. 

Nana Ama Benson, a 23-year-old graduate of University Ghana Nursing School, who represented the Central Region, was crowned Miss Ghana 2018 at the pageant’s finales in September at the Marriot Hotel. The Northern regional contestant, Laila Issaka, who is also a 24-year-old Accounting graduate of Koforidua Technical University, and 22-year-old graduate of Accra Polytechnic, Elizabeth Mary Maclean, who also represented the western Region, came the first and second runners-up respectively.

She took home the Miss Ghana crown, a Mahindra KUV 100 official car and also has an opportunity to represent Ghana at the Miss World pageant 2018.The runners-up also received Hyundai Grande i10 official cars each. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Top Tech, Mr. Cecil Ekow Garbrah, commended the Miss Ghana Organisation for its effort ingetting the queens to learn driving through a professional school.

As part of the agenda to make the newly created Assin North District the neatest district in Ghana 🇬🇭, the district assembly led by Hon Charles Ohene Andoh, the DCE in collaboration with the Chief and people of Assin Endwa(the gateway to the district from the south) will kick start a clean up campaign this morning Tuesday,6th November 2018. The exercise is sought to rekindle the communal spirit of the people in the district as far as sanitation is concerned. The District Chief Executive, the assemblymen and Nananom have a firm believe that if the neatest town in Ghana (Assin Kushea) is in the district, then the sanitation issues can as well be confronted vigorously in the various towns and villages with communal labour and education on sanitation; some key factors which played the leading role in making Assin Kushea the neatest town in Ghana. This morning exercise would be replicated in other towns in the subsequent weeks. The Assembly has secured a final disposal site at Assin Bereku the district capital and arrangements to get waste bins placed at some strategic locations had been made. The Assembly received two sanitation trucks, donated by Zoomlion to help in this exercise. The environmental health department of the Assembly would soon rolled up an educational program for the stakeholders in the district ie nananom,school heads, market women, drivers, motor riders, security, pastors, seamstress, tailors etc to drive home the agenda to keep Assin North Clean. The sanitation issue in this country is a prime concern of the President, His Excellency  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufu Addo hence the DCE Hon Charles Ohene Andoh, The MP Hon Abena Durowaa Mensah, Constituency Chairman of the ruling government, Hon Bright Owusu Ansah, Nananom, the assemblymen and the good people of Assin North District pledge their support to make the newly created district the neatest district in Ghana.

Our attention has been drawn to a publication by the  respected Daily Guide dated Tuesday, November 6, 2018 captioned *"2 NPP Kingpins Battle for Asuogyaman Seat"

We wish to state emphatically that Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw has NOT officially or openly declared his intention to contest the Asuogyaman Parliamentary Seat in the 2020 General Elections.

For now, Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw is more focused and committed to the mandate and favour given to him by President Akufo-Addo at the National Lottery Authority. Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw as a good servant and steward is determined to the implementation of President Akufo-Addo's transformation agenda for the Lottery Industry in Ghana.

For avoidance of doubt, Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw will not make any move on the Asuogyaman Seat without first consulting and seeking approval from President Akufo-Addo and the Leadership of the New Patriotic Party.

The prevailing circumstances ahead of 2020 will determine whether Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw will contest the Asuogyaman Seat or not.

Nana Oye Lithur in a desperate attempt to respond to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's Social Intervention Policy question to the NDC has grossly exposed her intellectual ignorance.

According to Nana Oye Lithur on Homebase TV, "former President John Mahama implemented paramount  social intervention policies."

Interestingly, Nana Oye Lithur listed Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty(LEAP) and School Feeding Programme as John Mahama's implemented social intervention policies.

It is very essential to point out to Nana Oye Lithur that, the aforementioned social intervention policies were existing programmes introduced by NPP Government before incompetent Mills/Mahama came into office in 2009.

Nana Oye Lithur, respectfully next time  do research on National Policies before you make comment on issues in order to save yourself from political embarrassment. Please avoid Gringo-Nido Political embarrassment as suffered by Franklin Cudjoe of IMANI.

Various NDC members including Dr. Omane Boamah have failed to provide adequate and accurate response to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's Social Intervention Policy question.

John Mahama has suddenly becomes deaf and  dumb to the Social Intervention Policy question.

We are still waiting for right  response from the NDC on the Social Intervention Policy question.

Ghanaians are equally expecting answers from NDC to the 170 Economic Questions.

Transport Infrastructure basically refers to the framework that supports transport system, and this includes roads, railways, ports and airports.

When it comes to Transport Infrastructure in Ghana , no political party can compete with the achievements of  New Patriotic Party.

PNDC/NDC has ruled Ghana for 27 years but can boast of only two Interchanges namely the construction of:
1. Kasoa Interchange
2.Circle Interchange

They only thing that PNDC/NDC Government was good at was the construction of Roundabouts across the Country.

NPP Government from 2001-2009 was the first party to introduced the construction of  major interchanges and flyovers across the Country,moving away from the NDC'S Roundabouts.

 NPP Government used just 8years(2001---2009) to constructs 6 major Interchanges and 3 flyovers across Ghana namely:
1. Mallam Interchange
2. Tetteh Quarshie Interchange
3. Achimota Interchange
4. Asafo Interchange
5. Sofoline Interchange
6. Asokwa Interchange
7. Ashaiman-motorway Flyover
8. Alajo-Avenor Flyover
9. Atomic Junction Flyover

Currently, under President Akufo-Addo's Government,three major Interchanges are under construction namely:
1. Tamale Interchange
2. Tema Interchange
3. Pokuase Interchange

At the Ports too, Soft Infrastructure Projects have been implemented to block revenue leakages, maximizing revenue generation and improve efficiency.

The two main important soft infrastructure projects at the Ports implemented by President Akufo-Addo's Government are:
1. Paperless Port System
2. Cargo Tracking Note (CTN) System

Metro Mass Transit was equally introduced by NPP Government.

Ghana's Airports also experienced massive transformation under NPP Government.

NPP Government is the only Government that has added more Kilometres to the road networks in Ghana.

Currently, the railway networks are experiencing massive and unprecedented facelift under President Akufo-Addo's Government.

NDC should shut up when it comes to transport Infrastructure.

FORESTRY COMMISSION NOW USING; GHANA WOOD TRACKING SYSTEM (GWTS)

        Timber Industry Development Division (TIDD) in collaboration with Forest Service Division (FSD) invited all the TIDD and FSD within Assin  Fosu jurisdictions namely; winneba FSD, Cape Coast FSD, Assin Fosu FSD, Dunkwa-on-Ofin FSD, and Asante Bekwae, met with the Timber contractors and sawmill operators and Educate them on the new and the Digital; Ghana Wood Tracking system.

According to the TIDD Assin Fosu Area Manager, *Mr. Matthew Yaw Duku*, the old manual system is becoming outmoded, they are now on Ghana Wood Tracking System which is going to help the commission for the tracking of woods from the bush till it gets to the market places, He said, with this, no contractor will be able to transport wood from the bush into the market illegally.

Asente Bekwae Forest Service Division (FSD) manager *Mr. George Agbenowoshi* also explained to the media and the general public especially Timber contractors and the sawmill operators how this Tracking system is going to be operate and how positively it will affect their biggest stakeholders (Timber contractors and the sawmill operators).

He finally advised the chiefs and the community leaders to use the *Social responsibility Agreement fun* (SRA): they get from the Timber contractors to develop their community.

A young man between 25-28 years has been beaten mercilessly by the residents of  Assin Fosu Brofoyedru for allegedly robbing the Chief of Assin Brofoyedru  Nana Oberempong Agyapong ii.
   The young man(name withheld) entered the chief palace and breaks in to the chief's room and took away his flat screen television and an amount of Gh230 whilst the chief Nana Agyapong ii  was seated at a  grand durbar organized by Assin Fosu municipal National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) educating people on how to prevent domestic disasters. 

Themed: Reducing the Economic Losses of Disasters.

   In an interview with Nana Oberempong Agyapong ii he said, some 18 suspected weed smokers were arrested some months ago by the  Assin Fosu police command but the police charged them an amount of Gh 300 each and left them unpunished. He added that,they made several complains to the police about the increasing level of criminal activities in the community but to no avail.

In an interview with the angry mob,they said, the police can't be trusted so they are ever prepared to deal with any armed robber who will be caught in other to serve as a deterrent to other criminals.

 

The  Assin Fosu Police command came an hour later to rescue the alleged armed robber

NPP is Borrowing for the Establishment of Generational Assets  and the Realization of the Ghana Beyond Aid Agenda

President Akufo-Addo in his quest to achieve the bigger vision of Ghana Beyond Aid Agenda requires a more pragmatic and wise strategic borrowing.

There are different approaches and forms of borrowing. Typically,  NPP's Government under President Akufo-Addo is predominantly using the wisest and best approach and forms of borrowing such as the Barter System and Leveraging of the country's natural resources, and bonds towards the development and socio-economic transformation of Ghana.

Most of the borrowing initiated by President Akufo-Addo are used to establish and create *Assets-oriented programs* and *Value-added facilities* which are self-servicing and equally capable of paying off the loans.

Some of the assets-oriented programs and values added facilities implemented by President Akufo-Addo with the loans raised through the Barter System, Leveraging and Bonds are as follows:
1. One District One Factory
The successful operations of these established factories across the country are great generational assets capable of servicing the loans used for the establishment.

More people will be employed under the one district one factory policy and those employed would contribute to nation building through payment of their taxes.

2. Planting for Food and Jobs

This Program is one of the most powerful value-added facilities aimed at modernizing agriculture, supporting factories under one District one Factory Policy with raw materials, creating jobs, contributing to GDP and reducing importation of food and goods into the country thereby giving strength to the Cedi.

3. Soft Infrastructures such as the Paperless Port System, CTN System and Monitoring Platforms for the Telecommunications Industry.

These soft infrastructures will aid Government to generate more revenue domestically to service some of the loans borrowed from the World Market.

4. Strengthening of the Banking Industry and the Financial Market.

The Economic Infrastructure of this country largely depend on the strength of the Financial Market and Banking Industry.

President Akufo-Addo's Government through pragmatism has raised bonds to protect the money of depositors and also empowered struggling Banks and financial institutions.

NDC borrowed and  freely gave to Woyome, Subah, Bus Branding, Guinea fowls-SADA, Isofoton, and other pervasive corruptions under Mills/Mahama Administration.

President Akufo-Addo under the  NPP Government is rather borrowing to implement generational policies and programs capable of paying the loans.

The difference is very clear between NPP and NDC in terms of our behaviour towards borrowing.

NDC borrowed and distributed the money amongst themselves, their wives and their concubines.

NDC purposely borrowed to create *Generational Liabilities* for the nation.

NPP wisely and strategically borrowed under a special scheme of Barter System, Leveraging system and Bonds to establish *Generational Assets* and *Value-added facilities* for the Nation.

NDC's Borrowing for Bus Branding and NPP's Borrowing for One District One Factory are not the same and can never be comparable.

Dream Projects donates to Shai and Osudoku.

Dream Projects education Foundation has made donations to 5 schools in the Shai Osudoku District.

The Schools are Agomeda Presbyterian basic School.

New Jerusalem DA Basic School and Duffor Methodist Basic School.

The rest are Agbekotsekpo DA Basic and Fiakonya DA Basic School.

Over 270 students benefited from this exercise with each of them receiving 8 exercise books and pens.

All the girls from the 5 schools received a school bag each whiles a little over 50 students received footwear for school.

The DCE of Shai Osudoku allocated a pick up for the donation and gave a personal donation of  GHC500.

In the team for the donation were, Mr. Charles Odoom, Deputy HR Director GES for Shai Osudoku, Mr Ken Nartey, District YEA Coordinator and the Dream Projects team.

Dream Projects hopes to repeat this gesture in the district for the next 3  years.

They are also calling on well meaning Ghanaians and other stakeholders to support them as they reach out to other deprived districts.

To help Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and Members of the NDC to understand and appreciate the contest and pretext of Social Intervention Policies, I would like to give a basic and practical definition to Social Intervention Policies.

Social Intervention Policies defined practically as  policies which have *nationwide effects after their implementation* and are *absolutely at no cost to the beneficiaries.*

Social Intervention Policies are not restricted to a particular geographical location.

Implementation of Social Intervention Policies occur concurrently across all the Regions and Districts of the State.

The implementation of Social Intervention Policies positively affect the lives of beneficiaries and are enjoyed by almost everyone including rich and poor, low class and upper class.

Therefore,  it was intellectually weak for Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and members of the NDC to list Ridge Hospital and others as their Social Intervention Policies.

Again, it was totally absurd and intelligence deficient for Members of NDC and Dr. Edward Omane Boamah to list VAT as one of their Social Intervention Policies.  Social Intervention Policies do not put financial burdens on beneficiaries but rather are at a Free Cost to beneficiaries.

Progressive Free SHS by NDC can never fall under Social Intervention Policies because it was partially implemented and crowded by discrimination against other Ghanaian School Children.

Social Intervention Policies are devoid of discrimination and restrictions.

All the Social Intervention Policies listed by Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and Members of NDC are totally wrong and do not hold.

For instance, the implementation of  Free Maternal Healthcare Delivery by the NPP Government positively transformed the lives of pregnant women across the entire nation at absolutely no cost to the pregnant women.

Social Intervention Policies are game changers.

The best, cutting edge and top-notch Social Intervention Policies that are game changers which have been implemented in Ghana include:

1. FREE S.H.S by Akufo-Addo's Government

2. NABCO by  Akufo-Addo's Government

3. LEAP by John Agyekym Kufour's Government.

4. Capitation Grant by John Agyekum Kufour's Government.

5. Free School Feeding by John Agyekum Kufour's Government.

In fact, the truth of the matter is that, it is only the NPP Government that has been able to implement Social Intervention Policies in Ghana since Independence.

All other Governments  have tried to implement a number of Social Amenities or Poverty Alleviation Programmes but these programmes can never be described as Social Intervention Policies or Social Intervention Programmes.
