USE ORGANIC FERTILIZER TO PREVENT SOIL DETERIORATION----CEO/SNR. CONSULTANT ADVISES COCOA FARMERS.
The CEO of IKHMAN CONSULT who double as a Snr. consultant Mr. Issac Manu, has urged the famers in Ghana especially those into cocoa beans production to minimize or desist from the application of chemical fertilizer to their cocoa farms if only they aimed a longer harvest of their cocoa and engage in the usage of organic fertilizer.
IKHMAN CONSULT; is a member of both chamber of commerce and industry and chamber of agribusinesses and also a registered agro input Distributor across the country.
According to Mr. Manu, IKHMAN CONSULT resolved to undertake a full research work on the impact of the use of chemical fertilizer and role of organic fertilizer in mitigating the effect if any. And it was discovered that, the use of chemical fertilizer increases soil Acidity but does nothing to help soil amendment, and the use of the organic fertilizer neutralizes the acidity in the soil and helps soil amendment.
On an attempt to recommend an organic fertilizer which is suitable to the famers and same time has all these qualities, Mr. Manu, revealed to the media (press) that, *ASAASE NUFUSUO* organic fertilizer is the best organic fertilizer for every farmers.
He finally appealed to the Government and the Ghana Cocobod to capture the ASAASE NUFUSUO organic fertilizer under the national Fertilizer Subsidy programme because it will encourage the famers and also increases the cocoa production.
