CHPS COMPOUND CONTRACTOR AT LARGE, WE ARE DISAPPOINTED IN OUR POLITICIANS,... CHIEF LAMENTED. 1st In News.

CHPS COMPOUND CONTRACTOR AT LARGE, WE ARE DISAPPOINTED IN OUR POLITICIANS.

The chief and the residents of Assin Anhweasu are very upset about the way and the manner the politicians are treating them.
Assin Anhweasu is a suburb of Assin Fosu under Assin North municipality, in the central region, a community of over 3000 populations.
The chief in the community is crying bitterly to the president Nana Addo , PM for Assin north Hon. Abena Duruwaa Mensah and the MCE HON. Nicholas Fiifi Baako, to come to their aid immediately because the Heath center in the community is likely to be shout down if the above mentioned leaders turn deaf ears to their problems.
During an encounter with  the chief by splash FM's reporter Emmanuel Kwaku Ahiaku , He disclosed that, they don't have clinic in the community until NPP administration in 2004, they gave the contract to someone to build a health care center for the community, he started the project until they leave office in the 2008, the project has become stand still.

According to the chief, several attempts has been made by the chief and the elders in the community to find the contractor but as at now, He ( the contractor) is no more to be found.
Currently, the the community has managed to rent someone's kiosks (store) for the nurses and doctors to operate since 2007. Because of unavailability of space and chairs , the pregnant women and the patients have to be standing under tress and local canopy made with palm leaves and coconut leaves.

Unfortunately the community is owing the store owner because the community is unable to finance the rent fee for some years, which has compelled the store owner asking them to leave the place. The man has given the some few weeks to leave the place.
Due to this harassment the health workers are going through, they are even planing to leave the community.
In conclusion, the chief appealed to the government, help them contract New class room block for the KGs because currently, the place are has become death trap for both the teachers and the students.
