KANDA PRESBY YOUTHS (YPG) DONATES TO AKROPONG SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF AND BLIND .
KANDA PRESBY YOUNG PEOPLE'S GUILD SUPPORT AKROPONG SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND AND DEAF
The Young people's Guild(YPG) of the Rev.Dr. Nantoma memorial congregation of the Presbyterian church of Ghana- kanda, has supported the Akropong school for the blind and deaf by donating some item's to the school.
The Items which included five bags of 50kg of rice,five gallons of oil, twenty-five pack of biscuits,assorted drinks and a cash amount of five thousand Ghana cedis(Ghc5,000) were donated by executives and members of the Rev.Dr.Nantoma Young People's Guildon saturday,the 17th day of february,2018.
Speaking with,Presbyter Leonora Addy,section Clark of the Rev.Dr. Nantoma memorial congregation who led the delegation, she said,"the presentation was made to mark the thirty years anniversary of the Rev.Dr.Nantoma congregation's Young People's Guild.
She continued by urging the students of the Akropong School for the Blind and Deaf not to give up hopes but be prayerful in all things as there is always a possibility for God to intervene and also advised them to take their education serious.
The headmistress of the school,Madam Mahela Naa who received the items thanked them for such benevolent donation.She assured the guilders of their prayers as a school for them so that they the guilders will never lack.
She again used this opportunity to appeal to parent's,guardian and the general public to pay needed attention to their ward's and the school as a whole.she said"most parents dont visit their wards after they have brought them to the school,but rather abandon the children to their fate and that of the school which is very bad.
